The name of this font is derived from the French for “guardian angel,” and its capital letters are indeed guarded by winged figures. Underneath this font’s embellishments are mechanical footprints, adding a hint of steampunk. Azteakįrom the independent digital type foundry, Fountain, Azteak combines traces of the past with dreams from the future. Like a cowboy’s stubble, rough edges and scruffy surfaces make this font a more masculine antique.
